Wrote this piece to remind myself not to waste my life away
Live it to the fullest so that I’ll leave no regrets

Wrote this some time ago
Had a hard time getting it recorded
Coz I couldn’t get the tempo right
Not satisfied, but this is the best shot yet
Song’s about Casanovas who treat love lightly
Dedicated to all who were hurt by these in the past

Went for JJ’s concert last weekend with Jie
JJ’s effort in the concert prep really paid off
It was fantastic.. way to go!!
And thanks to JJ’s church for keeping him in prayer
Glad he got his voice back before the concert =)
Sharing a video of the performance
This touched me the most in the concert
A debut by the members of JJ’s family
Daddy Lin even sang a little of the song
Only available in Singapore.. enjoy!
Got on top of Victoria Peak on board the ancient Peak Tram
View’s great, but it’s a pity that we couldn’t see further due to the fog
Can help but recognise a few of the prominent architectures that participated in the Symphony of Lights show at the central harbor the day before
Visited the renowned Madame Tussauds
Was thrilled to pose with the celebrities!
Wax, though they were =P

Went on a trip to Hong Kong with mum and sis last week
We left with 2 luggages and came back with SIX!!
Think the boutiques on the streets were much better to shop in than the shopping malls.
Will be visiting these places again the next time I’m back in hk:
1. Granville Road
2. Kimberly Road
3. Nathan Road
4. Argyle Street

Song inspired by korean drama “Sorry, I love you”
Was charged with so much emotions from the sad (I mean SAD) ending
Penned parts of the song previously to vent my emotions a little
Was reminded of it while flipping through my handy-dandy notebook
Might as well finish what I’ve started
The 1st three stanza’s mirrors the storyline of the drama
But I HATE sad stories
Added a stanza at the end
To put in hope to ease the gloom
My 2nd original composition. Comments?
Needa bring up the volume to hear it clearly though
Song’s about a girl who lost her loved one
Traces back to the places that they’ve been together
Trying desperately to keep the memories afresh
With them, she finds the courage to go on
Waiting patiently for the day they’ll reunite… in heaven

Wanted to try my hand at writing a song.. out came “Vestige Love”
Had penned some lyrics and melodies when inspiration hits before
But they were always short, disconnected pieces
This is the first complete piece.. or at least relatively
Couldn’t come up with english lyrics that’s good enough to parallel the original, but here’s a brief of what it means:
reminiscing a past relationship a dream
appreciating the beauty while it lasted
yet recognizing that it’s over and it’s time to move on

Didi was messing around while I was trying to do some serious spring cleaning. Wanted to teach him a lesson by closing the cabinet, but he made it out under 1 min. So much for the lesson. So smart..
Here I was singing his praises and there he goes pulling his next stunt.. Asking for a good spank on his butt!

Just finished my last papers 2 weeks ago and have unofficially graduated from university. Come to think of it, I’ve spent 18 years studying.. kindergarten -> primary -> secondary -> poly -> uni. OMG.. 18 years of my life have gone into studying. I always have this niggling thought in poly years that why should we be spending so much time studying. Had wanted to start working after poly then. But then I was convinced by working adults that the degree cert is IMPT if you wanna get promoted to more senior positions. So, on I went to pursue a uni degree, and alas, you start to realise that to be a manager, you’ll need either a) donkey years of experience, or b) a Masters. Duh.. more studying? Not gonna get into the trap again.
Once in a while I’ll be thinking: Do I have to go through the flow like everyone else? But then I didn’t really have time to think about what other alternatives when I am bogged down by deadlines and events. Maybe this is a good time to sort things out before I get a job. And fall into another endless trap. *Grinz*
